We have installed Tracker on a new PC but we cannot see any of our data. |
Tracker is accessing an incorrect database.
To point Tracker to the correct databases directory, ask your IT representative to follow these steps:
- Run the registry editor (regedit)
- Search for ‘MainDB.cdc’ - The folder ‘Tracker’ in the tree: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Cello Software should be found
- Open the DBData folder and look for the DBLoc value. This will give you the location of the database that Tracker is connecting to.
- Rename this file MainDBOld.cdc.
- Run Tracker which will start looking for the database. Interrupt the process by clicking Browse and guiding the application to the network drive where the correct maindb.cdc sits
- Select maindb.cdc on click open.
- Login and check that Tracker now contains the relevant data.

Microsoft Word or compatible viewer. To tell Tracker which
viewer to use follow these steps:

- In the right hand pane look for editor and viewer information.
- Click the locate button and find your Word .exe file and link
it. Do the same for the viewer and the editor.
